Mark is counsel to intellectual property owners and investors, solving legal and business issues ranging from trademark prosecution to domain name disputes to cryptocurrency regulation compliance.  Mark also serves as outside general corporate counsel to technology firms, and has participated in nationwide corporate investigation and whistleblower matters.

Prior to forming his current firm in 2011, Mark was an associate at one of the United States’ 100 largest law firms, governed by a prior U.S. Senator and Chief of Staff to the President.   Mark was also an associate at two Atlanta corporate and technology law boutiques.

Mark Richardson earned his law degree from New York University School of Law.  He graduated Phi Beta Kappa in the top two percent of his class at Emory University, winning the Whitman Prize for the Outstanding Graduate in Economics and an Emory Humanitarian Award.  He was also a Robert W. Woodruff Scholar (Emory’s highest merit award).

Upon graduation, Richardson was awarded a prestigious Robert T. Jones, Jr. Scholarship to study at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland.  The year-long academic and cultural program is a memorial to the Grand Slam-winning golfer, Bobby Jones.  Mark was also Valedictorian and “Outstanding Academic Athlete” of his high school in Denver, Colorado.
